Former Premier League strikers, Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker, have revealed how many goals Cristiano Ronaldo will score for Manchester United this season.
Ronaldo joined Man United from Juventus in the summer transfer window.
The Portugal captain has netted five goals in six appearances in all competitions for Man United.
But Shearer and Lineker believe the five-time Ballon d'Or winner will exceed the 20-goal mark this season.
"When you look at his [ Cristiano Ronaldo] career, and particularly his career at Man United, he started there, started with very raw but unbelievable talent and you could see that from the beginning," Shearer said on the BBC's Match of the Day Top 10 podcast.
"And where he's got to... him and [Lionel] Messi have taken goal scoring to another level. It was ridiculous the number of goals these guys [have scored].
"It depends how often, if he stays fit...25 [goals this season."
On his part, Shearer responded: "I think I am right in saying the last time he failed to score 20 or more league goals in a season was the season he left Manchester United in 2009.
"You are pretty much guaranteed, I would say, 20 league goals."
Ronaldo will hope to continue his impressive display for Man United after the international break when they face Leicester in their next match on October 16.
