EPL Table: Chelsea occupy first position as Liverpool fail to beat Manchester City

Chelsea are currently on top of the Premier League table after Liverpool failed to beat Manchester City on Sunday.

Thomas Tuchel's side had won Southampton 3-1 in their Premier League clash on Saturday to top the Premier League table.

Chelsea now has 16 points from seven matches.

Behind Chelsea is Liverpool, who occupy the second position with 15 points from the same number of matches.

Jurgen Klopp's side are ahead of third-place Manchester City, who have 14 points.

Recall that Liverpool played a 2-2 draw against Pep Guardiola's side at Anfield.

Goals from Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne ensured both teams shared a point each.

Meanwhile, sitting in the fourth position is Man United, followed by Everton in the fifth position.
