Paris Saint-Germain manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has apologised for celebrating Lionel Messi's goal against Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Pochettino also explained why he was excited after Messi made it 2-0 at the Parc des Princes.
He said: "For many years I watched Messi scoring goals, always with the opposite team.
"The first (goal) for our side, for my side, well I had to celebrate it, I am sorry!"
PSG moved to the top of the group with the win. Idrissa Gueye opened the scoring early in the first half, before Messi produced a moment of magic in the second half.
The 34-year-old played a neat one-two with Kylian Mbappe on the edge of the box before curling a first time shot past Ederson.
Messi's goal sparked wild scenes of celebration on the home bench, which even the usually calm and composed Pochettino got involved in.
