Former Chelsea striker, Olivier Giroud has revealed that he told the club's manager, Thomas Tuchel that the last three months had been too difficult before he left Stamford Bridge for AC Milan.
Giroud also insisted that his decision to leave the Premier League club for AC Milan was an "obvious choice", adding that life at Chelsea had become too hard for him.
The France international left Chelsea for AC Milan in the summer transfer window after spending a nine-year spell in English football.
"I liked the Premier League, but at some point, I had to make a decision," Giroud told Telefoot.
"I told [Thomas] Tuchel that the last three months had been too difficult.
"It was an obvious choice to leave Chelsea, I moved on with great emotion for all the moments we experienced.
"Some were good, some others not so much, but we won three important titles."
Giroud has been so far impressive for AC Milan in Serie A.
