Barcelona boss, Ronald Koeman, has explained why he played defender, Gerard Pique as a striker during his side's LaLiga 1-1 draw with Granada.
Koeman said he decided to play Pique as a striker during the encounter because the spaces were out wide and not in the middle.
Granada went in front with just over 60 seconds on the clock when Domingos Duarte headed home against Barcelona.
But Koeman turned to Pique, among others, to rescue a point against the visitors.
"We changed our style a little bit," Koeman said at his post-match press conference after the game.
"The spaces were out wide, not in the middle. We went with Pique, De Jong and Araujo and from one of those crosses, we got the draw. "
Barcelona's next fixture is against Cadiz on Thursday.
