Manchester City's manager, Pep Guardiola, has given a hint that he might leave the club at the end of his contract in 2023. Guardiola joined City in 2016, feels he needs to take a break when his contract expires.
Sky Sports News reported this news. Guardiola confirmed that he might have to take a break and have an assessment of all he had achieved with the club.
He also spoke about the possibility of taking up a National team job, if there is an opening available for him to handle.
Next step will be a national team, if there is a possibility. After seven years on this team, I think I'm going to have a stop. I'm going to have to take a break to see what we have done.
And in the process, I would like to coach a South American team, European, playing a Copa America. I want to have that experience.
Pep Guardiola has won ten trophies since he joined Manchester City, which includes three Premier League titles, four League Cups, two Community Shields, and One FA Cup.
