Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe, has made a u-turn and now wants to stay at Le Parc des Princes beyond this summer, according to Spanish radio network Cadena SER.
PSG Sporting Director, Leonardo, has informed Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino that Mbappe will remain available for selection this season.
Mbappe had asked PSG to sell him amid interest from Real Madrid.
Mbappe's future has been a talking point for much of last season and this season so far.
The France international is in the final year of his PSG contract.
The 22-year-old is yet to agree on a new deal with the club and that would see him become available as a free agent next summer.
Mbappe leaving PSG next summer remains a possibility, but for now, he is staying put at the French Ligue 1 giants.
He will now have the opportunity to play with new teammate, Lionel Messi, as part of a formidable attacking lineup alongside Neymar.
Mbappe was on target as PSG defeated Strasbourg 4-2 in a Ligue 1 encounter over the weekend.
