Former Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi's move to PSG has become good news for NBA legend, Michael Jordan.
During the coronavirus pandemic, the former Chicago Bulls player saw his fortune take a significant hit.
However, the arrival of the Argentina international at PSG could allow Jordan to recoup some of the money he lost.
According to Forbes magazine, Jordan lost around 24 percent of his money during the COVID-19 pandemic, his net worth dropped from 2.1 billion dollars to 1.6 billion dollars.
However, Nike, which is Jordan's brand, produces PSG shirt which is expected to sell around 2.5 million following Messi's arrival.
Messi is one of the most well-known athletes around the world and fans are always desperate to get their hands on one on his shirts, Marca report.
The Jordan brand has been the make of PSG's kits since the 2019/20 season, while Michael Jordan receives a five percent profit for each jersey sold.
Already the Paris based club have earned around 120 million euros since Messi's shirt went on sale.
And this would earn Jordan six million euros in a single weekend.
