'A woman paying $200k to a man for spousal support makes me sad' - Toke Makinwa reacts as Kelly Clarkson is to pay ex-husband $200k monthly

Media personality Toke Makinwa has reacted to a court judgment that ordered singer Kelly Clarkson to pay her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock $200k monthly for spousal support.

Reacting to this, Toke wrote "God forbid" on her Instagram story.

She further admitted that as a feminist her post is wrong.

She wrote;

"As a Feminist I know my last post is wrong, We should strive for "Gender Equality". The right to equal rights regardless of gender but I think the life of a woman is hard enough, Women don't win all the time so I'll always ride for women. Dr dre's wife is getting more and I know I didn't make a post about it but something about a woman paying wok to a man monthly makes me sad.

Maybe he was a stay home dad sha but spousal support is one thing, (she clearly earned more), why does she have to pay him to take care of his own child??? The laws in America sha iti In Nigeria you divorce and it is by mercy and begging your partner can choose to let you have money plus he decides what he he can give"
