Former Manchester United goalkeeper, Sergio Romero is being linked with a move to Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
The Telegraph report that Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, is keen to bring Romero to Stamford Bridge to provide competition for No. 1 Eduourd Mendy and back-up Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Romero, who failed to make an appearance for Man United in the 2020-2021 campaign, is a free agent after his contract at Old Trafford came to an end in June this year.
Chelsea have already released veteran keeper, Willy Caballero, last month and are in the market for a third 'goalkeeper'.
Romero played second fiddle to David de Gea for much of his six years at Man United, but the rise of Dean Henderson saw him pushed down to third-choice goalkeeper at the Red Devils.
The Argentine international came close to joining Everton on loan last summer, but Man United decided to block the move late in the transfer window.
