Four-time GRAMMY-winner, Angelique Kidjo backs the Afrobeat superstar singer, Burna Boy over the supposed claim of having an attitude.
In a recent dialogue with Smooth FM Lagos, the host mentioned that the self-acclaimed African Giant has an unapologetic attitude with which critics attacks him with.
In response, the Beninese singer-songwriter responded by praising Burna Boy of being good at his craft and for that, it does not necessarily owe an apology to nobody.
"When you're talented, yes, you have to have humility but that doesn't mean you're going to walk on yourself and apologize. For what? I'm good at what I do. You don't like it? Sorry! If it was an African-American person having that attitude, nobody would say anything.
"That's my boy mehn! Let him do his stuff. If you don't like it, sorry for you... You leave my boy alone!" Angelique Kidjo stated.
