Portugal midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, has paid tribute to France star, Paul Pogba, ahead of both sides' Euro 2020 tie on June 23.
Fernandes said he was happy for Pogba after the 28-year-old won the Man of the Match award against Germany on Tuesday.
Pogba delivered an impressive display alongside N'Golo Kante at the heart of France's midfield as they defeated Germany 1-0 in their Euro 2020 opener at the Allianz Arena in Munich following Mats Hummel's first-half own goal.
After receiving the award, Fernandes sent a message to his Man United teammate with Portugal due to play France in their final Group F match next week.
On his Instagram story, Fernandes posted a picture of Pogba in his post-match interview with the message: "Happy for you, but MVP only today".
Meanwhile, Portugal also won their Euro 2020 opener against Hungary on Tuesday.
A brace from Cristiano Ronaldo and a strike from Raphael Guerreiro gave Portugal the win.
