Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has said Chelsea star N'Golo Kante, has evolved into the "best all-round midfielder in Europe".
The 30-year-old won Man of the Match in both legs of the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid, as well as the final against Manchester City.
His performances have led to calls for him to win the Ballon d'Or.
Wenger has now joined the chorus of praise for Kante, highlighting how he has developed his game to add an attacking side.
Asked to name Les Bleus' player to watch, Wenger told beIN SPORTS: "N'Golo Kante has added something to his game.
"Before he won the ball and made a good pass, he was an exceptional ball winner.
"I say an exceptional ball-winner because he wins decisive balls without making a foul.
"But he is now capable of running with the ball and making a good pass in the final third.
"That's why I am certain he is the best all-round midfielder in Europe at the moment."
