Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel has revealed the promise he made to the club owner, Roman Abramovich after their Champions League glory on Saturday night.
The German said he is in line to sign a new contract and has told Abramovich he is 'hungry' to win more trophies for the Blues.
Chelsea defeated Manchester City 1-0 in Saturday's final in Porto with Kai Havertz's first-half goal enough to give the Blues a second Champions League trophy.
Abramovich was in attendance at the Estadio do Dragao and watched his team win.
And this was the first meeting between Tuchel and Abramovich since the German replaced Frank Lampard as manager in January.
"I'm not quite sure if I can even speak out this, I'm not even 100 per cent sure but maybe I have already a new contract with that win, my manager said something but I do not know, so let's check this first,' Tuchel told reporters.
"I spoke to the owner right now on the pitch, I think it was the best moment for the first meeting, or the worst because from now on it can only get worse!
'We will speak tomorrow, we will speak later, I'm looking forward to this, I can assure him I will stay hungry, that I want the next title and I feel absolutely happy. I feel as a part of a really ambitious club, a strong part of a strong group that suits my belief and my passion about football in the moment perfectly.
"So my desire is to go for more victories, my desire is grow as a coach, my desire is to push the group on the first day of the next season to the limit.
"We have work to do to close the gap, this is what I'm all about.
"It will be nice to meet him a bit closer. We're in contact but not personal but we're in contact and he knows what's going on from me directly, now it's nice to meet him."
