Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said he told his players to forget football ahead of their Champions League final clash with Chelsea on May 29 in Porto.
Guardiola said this on Monday during his pre-match press conference ahead of Man City's Premier League clash with Brighton on Tuesday.
Man City head to the game following a 4-3 win at Newcastle last Friday.
"I told them [Man City players] to forget the football and enjoy your time with your family as a champion," Guardiola said.
"We will play to win the next one and prepare for the [Champions League] final [against Chelsea].
"I have no doubts the people are incredibly committed to winning the three games we still have [this season]."
Recall that Man City eliminated Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semi-final earlier this month, while Chelsea knocked Real Madrid out of the competition.
