Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has revealed that forward, Sadio Mane has finally apologised after refusing to shake his hand at Old Trafford.
Mane snubbed Klopp after Liverpool's 4-2 win against Manchester United on Thursday.
Klopp had kept Mane on the bench and brought him on with 16 minutes to stoppage time as Liverpool defeated Man United, thanks to goals from Roberto Firmino (2), Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah.
But as the teams returned to the tunnel after the final whistle, Mane refused the offer of a handshake from Klopp. He walked away shaking his head.
The Senegal star has been heavily criticised for disrespecting his manager but the German tactician is now saying that the situation has been resolved.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Klopp said: "We spoke and he apologised. That is clear and that is it."
Meanwhile, Mane found himself back in the Liverpool starting lineup on Sunday as they tackle West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.
