Former presidential aide and writer, Reno Omokri, has warned couples over instituting a glamorous wedding ceremony for a marriage that would barely last for an appreciable period of time.
To Reno, it is very necessary to invest time and effort in building one's marriage rather than going bankrupt in order to achieve a grand wedding ceremony. He asserted that the wedding is like icing on a cake; the cake therein is the marriage which is the main thing to consider in any union.
Taking to his official Twitter account, he wrote:
"Dear couples, Going into debt to have a wedding of the century can cause the problem of the century. Don't gain your wedding and lose your marriage. A wedding is the icing, a marriage is the cake. You can do without icing, but not without cake."
