Manchester United has shortlisted Leicester City's Wilfred Ndidi, and two other players to replace Paul Pogba at Old Trafford should the midfielder decide to leave the club this summer transfer window.
Recall that Man United are prepared to sell Pogba at the end of the season if he fails to sign a new deal.
However, according to Sunday Mirror, Man United have now lined up three replacements for the France international, which include Ndidi, West Ham's Declan Rice and Atletico Madrid's Saul Niguez.
Pogba will enter the final year of his contract with Man United this summer, and an agreement between the two parties has not yet been reached.
The 28-year-old publicly stated his desire to leave Man United nearly two years ago, but he failed to secure a move away from the club.
Meanwhile, asked if he wants Man United to sell Pogba this summer if an agreement over a new contract is not reached, the Red Devils manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, said recently, "No, of course not.
"I have always said with Paul [Pogba] that I enjoy managing him, I enjoy coaching him, I enjoy talking to him, and I also enjoy challenging him because he is a winner.
"He wants to be better, and that's why he listens. You can see he's enjoying himself here as well."
