Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has made Celtic striker, Odsonne Edouard a target, as a potential replacement for Alexandre Lacazette, according to the UK Telegraph.
For some time now, Leicester City have felt they had won the race to sign the 23-year-old, with a £15million agreement close to being reached.
However, Arsenal have been monitoring Edouard for over a year and will look to make a move for the striker, who will have just one year remaining on his contract with Celtic this summer.
Lacazette will also have just one year left on his deal this summer, and the Gunners are set to make a decision over whether he will be sold or handed a contract extension.
Leicester believe they are in a strong position to sign Edouard, as Brendan Rodgers has already managed the striker during their time together at Celtic.
Edouard joined Celtic from Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 and has scored 81 goals in 163 appearances.
