Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has singled out Victor Lindelof, Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes for special praise after Manchester United beat Spanish side, Granada 2-0 in the Europa League on Thursday.
The 2-0 away win gave the Premier League giants a huge advantage towards the semi-finals.
Lindelof assisted Marcus Rashford for the first goal with his superb through ball on 31 minutes.
And Bruno Fernandes won and scored a late penalty to make it 2-0 for the Red Devils in the first leg of the quarter-final ties.
The second leg takes place at Old Trafford next week and the winners will face either Ajax or Porto in the semi-finals.
Solskjaer was asked whether there was a player he was particularly impressed with and he said, “Yeah definitely, Victor.
“He kept us glued together and he was good on the ball. What a pass for the first goal as well.”
He added, “They [Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes] have been exceptional, so important for us.
“It was a very good run by Rashford, takes the ball fantastically. Bruno is so confident on penalties even though the keeper almost saved it.”
