Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi, on Saturday, made another new record following his side's away La Liga 4-0 victory over Granada.
Barcelona defeated Granada at Los Cármenes, thanks to a brace each from Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann.
Messi's two goals against Granada means the Argentine captain has now scored 11 goals in the La Liga this season to become the only player to score ten goals plus in 15 consecutive seasons in the competition's history, according to Opta Jose.
This is coming less than a week after Messi set a record in Barcelona's 3-2 win over Athletic Club in the La Liga.
Messi will now hope to continue his impressive form for Barcelona when they tackle Real Sociedad in the Spanish Super Cup on Wednesday.
The victory against Granada means Barcelona are now in the third position on the La Liga table with two points behind second place Real Madrid and four points adrift leaders Atletico Madrid, who have three games in hand.
