Following their arrest for violating Covid-19 rules, Nigerian singers, Omah Lay and Tems have been charged to court in Uganda.
Recall we earlier reported that Omah Lay and Tems were arrested in Uganda for holding music concert in the country amid Covid-19 pandemic.
The Ugandan police confirmed that they arrested and detained Omah Lay alongside Tems for performing at a concert held at Speke Resort, Munyonyo.
His arrest follows a public outcry by Ugandan entertainers who castigated the Police for allowing international artistes to hold concerts while the local ones are denied.
Speaking via a social media post on his official Twitter page some hours ago, Omah Lay confirmed that he's with the Ugandan Police Force.
He stated at the time that all the issues will be sorted out and went on to urge all his fans to not be worried about him as he noted that things will be fine.
However, new reports alongside photos making rounds on social media have it that the singer and upcoming songstress, Tems have been charged to court.
