Paul Ince, a former Manchester United star, has revealed why the club's manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has continued to ignore striker, Odion Ighalo in his team selection.
Ighalo joined the Red Devils on loan from Shanghai Shenhua almost a year ago.
Ighalo has not made his first start for Manchester United in the top-flight, only making 12 appearances off the bench.
Ince believes that the United boss is not too sure about Ighalo's ability, suggesting that he, Solskjaer have more confidence in Edinson Cavani who joined the club few months ago.
Cavani has been getting game time and has recorded three goals and an assist coming off the bench in three league games
"When Ighalo came over from China, he was coming on for the last 10-15 minutes because he wasn't too sure about him," he told Premier League Production.
"Cavani's in his 30s, he can't start every game, but what he can do is come on and make an impact like we saw [at Southampton]."
