A division of Turner Broadcasting System, CNN, has released its findings on the Lekki tollgate shooting that actually confirms soldiers opening fire directly on protesters.
On the 20th of October 2020, the Nigerian Army opened fire on the #EndSARS protesters campaigning against police brutality in the country.
At first, the Army denied stepping foot at the protest ground; then later admitted the presence of some of their units, and further insisted on firing in the air and not at protesters.
Well, video-report gathered by CNN states otherwise as it clearly shows the Nigerian Army firing directly at Protesters, a term called shoot-to-kill by the military.
Contrary to Governor Sanwo-Olu's denial of casualties at the protest ground, CNN's report showed otherwise.
