The Premier League has announced that four persons have tested positive to COVID-19 after the latest phase of mass testing.
The four new cases were confirmed after 2,131 players and club staff were tested for COVID-19.
The English top-flight league confirmed this in a statement on its official website on Monday.
The statement read: "The Premier League can today confirm that between Monday 7 September and Sunday 13 September, 2,131 players and club staff were tested for COVID-19.
"Of these, there were four new positive tests.
"Players or club staff who have tested positive will self-isolate for a period of 10 days."
