Barcelona have made contact with Bayern Munich midfielder, Thiago Alcantara, over a possible return to the club, BILD reports.
Thiago left the LaLiga club in 2013, when Bayern activated his £22.4million release clause.
The 29-year-old has gone on to achive major success in Germany, winning seven league titles.
Thiago also won the Champions League this year, following a 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain in August.
Liverpool have been favourites to land the Spain international, but the two clubs are still jostling over the transfer fee.
Now, Thiago has received contact from his former club over a potential move back to his homeland, as he says his goodbyes at Bayern ahead of his probable exit.
