Mason Greenwood's position as a senior member of Manchester United's first team squad has been recognised after the teenage forward was handed an iconic squad number following his breakthrough campaign.
The prodigious 18-year-old shot to prominence on the pre-season tour of Australia and Asia just over a year ago and rewarded Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's faith with a string of devastating performances towards the backend of the campaign.
Greenwood's goals ultimately helped United end the 2019/20 campaign in superb form and he played a significant role in securing Champions League qualification, as well as starring in a run to the Europa League semi finals.
After wearing the No.26 shirt last term, Greenwood will wear No.11 on his back during the 2020/21 season, a jersey made famous by Ryan Giggs, who wore the shirt with distinction during the entirety of his old Trafford career.
Greenwood his hoping to make his senior England debut over the course of the coming days with Gareth Southgate's side facing UEFA Nations League qualifiers against Iceland and Denmark.

Meanwhile, fellow academy graduate and fellow emerging star Brandon Williams will wear No.33 this season, stepping up from No.53.
The versatile defender made 37 appearances in all competitions last season after making his senior debut almost a year ago.
Williams can play in defence on either flank and emerged as a genuine challenger to Luke Shaw's position as Solskjaer's first choice left-back.
