English club Watford have appointed former Serbia and Montenegro midfielder Vladimir Ivic as their new manager on a one-year contract with an option for a further year.
This comes after the English club were relegated to the Sky Bet Championship after a disappointing Premier League season.
Ivic succeeds Nigel Pearson who was sacked two games before the end of last season's Premier League campaign.
The club named Hayden Mullins as interim replacement but he could not save them from relegation as they fell 4-0 to Man City and 3-2 to Arsenal in their remaining two games to finish the season in 19th.
Following his appointment, Ivic becomes Watford's fourth permanent boss in one year as Javi Gracia and Quique Sanchez Flores were both sacked in the early months of last season.
Speaking after his unveiling, Ivic said: "First of all, from the beginning I have a big expectation of myself and of my coaching staff.
"It's my first time in England and I need to adapt as fast as possible, to do the best for the club is very important to me."
Ivic plans to bring with him the three-man coaching team who helped him win two titles with Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel.
The 43-year-old led Maccabi Tel Aviv to consecutive league titles in Israel prior to stepping down at the end of the season and previously managed Greek club PAOK Thessaloniki.
