Barcelona's desperate attempts to offload Philippe Coutinho, could see Arsenal paying just £9m upfront for the Brazilian midfielder, the UK Independent reports.
The LaLiga giants remain keen on Matteo Guendouzi and the out-of-favour youngster could move to the Camp Nou in a deal that takes Coutinho to the Emirates.
Such swap would see the Gunners pay an extra £9m.
Coutinho's future is up in the air, after spending last season on loan at Bayern Munich.
However, the Bundesliga champions decided against making his move permanent this summer.
Coutinho has featured only 54 times for Barcelona since joining from Liverpool in a nine-figure deal.
But Barca are prepared to cut their losses on the player and strengthen their squad ahead of next season.
