Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard, has said he does not need to speak with owner Roman Abramovich, before Saturday's FA Cup final against Arsenal.
Lampard won the trophy four times as a player, scoring the winner in the 2009 final.
And the Blues boss believes the cup still carries its old magic from when he grew up watching the Wembley showpiece.
Chelsea's Russian billionaire owner Abramovich missed their last FA Cup final, as he was having visa problems two years ago.
"I don't need a phone call, or a message, or recognition like that because I feel the support from the owner.
"I have felt it from him from the moment I took the job.
"I felt it for many years as a player. I am happy if I can make him happy," Lampard said during his Friday press conference.
