Frank Lampard has stated emphatically that there won't be any problem should Chelsea fail to qualify for next season's prestigious Champions League.
Champions League is arguably the most watched competition in Europe and many other parts of the world considering the excitement in the championship.
Any team that want to play in the Champions League must make sure they finish among the top four in their League for them to participate.
Chelsea are already one leg out of this season's Champions League after losing at home against Bayern Munich in the first leg of their round of 16 duel.
The Blues are working hard to make sure they finish among the top four this season so as for them to campaign in Europe next term.
Lampard and his men are currently occupying third position on the Premier League table and they need only one more win for them to get the Champions League ticket for next season.
But according to the report on Daily Mail, Frank Lampard feels it won't be a failure if Chelsea fail to make it to Europe next term.
''I desperately hope we get there, but for me it shouldn't put this club off its stride much because there were a lot of testing moments this year. We've shown intentions of moving in the right direction,'' Lampard explained.
