Cause of 19-year-old feud between legendary boxers Floyd Mayweather and Mike Tyson finally revealed

Mike Tyson is regarded as one of the greatest boxers ever to have graced the rings alongside 'Money Man' Floyd Mayweather who were both friends until 2001.

Although both legends appear to have maximum respect for each other, in reality there are signs that all is not well with the union of the stars.

It was gathered that a long-term hatred exists between the duo and according to Sportsmail, the problems started in 2001 when the pair disliked each other.

The report claims that their friendship went south when Mayweather played a role in a police raid that took place at Tyson's Las Vegas home, after he was accused of kidnapping and assaulting a woman.

It is written that Mayweather was upset at Tyson seeing the girl in question, so he instructed her to go to the police with the unsavoury claims.

In fact, Tyson has even spoken out about the alleged incident himself, telling Boxing Junkie: "Some serious people said it," before adding that he's never been able to find evidence to link Mayweather to the raid.

"I'm good with it now...You can forgive, but you have to remember."

Meanwhile, Mike Tyson is preparing for a sensational boxing return, even at 54 and he has admitted losing over 37kg and now weighs less than current heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

He recently released more footage of his training showing his punching power during a pad session with his coach.

The former undisputed heavyweight champion is expected to make a sensational return after 15 years outside the ring for an exhibition fight.

Tyson, who turned 54 on June 30 and was beaten by Kevin McBride in his final fight before retirement, has been sharing video clips of his training sessions on social media and fans love it.
