Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has said that he is concerned about not having enough funds this summer to strengthen his squad.
Speaking after a 2-1 win over Liverpool on Wednesday night, Arteta made it clear that "it is not magic" and he needs to build a squad.
The Spaniard who replaced Unai Emery in December, said it will take investment if the club is to compete for titles.
"You need it to build a squad. It's not magic.
"You need to improve with quality, quality players in the squad and you need bigger squads to compete in this competition. There's the challenge."
Alexandre Lacazette and Reiss Nelson scored for the Gunners to seal a famous win, after Sadio Mane gave the champions the lead at the Emirates.
Next up for Arteta is an FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City on Saturday.
