Current Barcelona gaffer Quique Setien has been put under serious pressure to deliver for the club after president Josep Bartomeu admitted that former star Xavi will manage the club soon.
Setien has been under serious fire at the Camp Nou since he came on board and winning the Spanish La Liga or the Champions League this season will save him from being axed.
But the possibility of Barcelona winning the topflight title in Spain is not guaranteed considering how Real Madrid are topping the Spanish La Liga table.
Before Barcelona appointed Setien as their new coach, Xavi was heavily linked with a move to become manager, but the Spaniard rejected the deal.
And now that Barcelona are struggling to retain their Spanish La Liga title, there have been speculation that Xavi could make a return to Camp Nou as manager.
While speaking on Barcelona's current situation, Josep Bartomeu explained that they are currently not looking for a coach stressing that their focus is to support Setien.
''Xavi will be Barca's coach, sooner or later. But right now we are not looking for a coach, we are with Quique.
''Quique Setien will coach the team in the Champions League and these last two Liga games that are left,'' he told TV3 according to the report on Daily Mail.
For Barcelona to have the chance to win the Spanish La Liga for this season, they will have to pray that Real Madrid drop points in their remaining three games this term.
