Real Madrid vs Eibar ended 3-1 as Los Blancos returned to La Liga with a not too convincing win over their opponents.
All three goals were scored in the first half through Toni Kroos, Sergio Ramos and Marcelo as Pedo Bigas pulled one back for Eibar in the second half.
Eden Hazard was the star of the show in the first 45 minutes as the Belgian was a handful for the Eibar defence with his mesmerizing moves.
As early as the fourth minute Los Blancos got the wind sailing in their direction as Kroos measured the goalkeeper from his goal-line with a brilliant side-footed lob to make it 1-0.
Ramos scored the second as Hazard unselfishly passed the ball to the Madrid captain to tap into an empty net. 2-0 it was on the half-hour mark.
Marcelo was next to get his name on the scoresheet as he fired home a low drive with his favourite left-foot after Eibar failed to clear their lines properly to make it 3-0.
Eibar came back stronger and created decent chances in the second half as Courtois had to make an acrobatic save from Edu Exposito's shot.
The pressure finally paid off on the hour mark as a Pablo De Blasis' shot took a deflection off his teammate Bigas to be Courtois on goal as it became 3-1.
Real Madrid made three changes after the goal with Ramos, Hazard and Rodrygo coming off for Eder Militao, Vinicius Junior and Gareth Bale.
But it did not change the complexion of the game as Eibar almost made it 3-2 through Pedro Leon whose shot was stopped by Courtois.
Zidane's men did enough to get the game into the finish line without conceding another goal as the match ended in a 3-1 win.
