Brazilian football legend Cafu has stated clearly that Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has the potential to win the Ballon d'Or if he continues with his impressive games.
Since breaking into Liverpool's first team, the Englishman has been superb for Jurgen Klopp and has demonstrated many times that he is a brilliant option.
However, this is not the first time that Cafu will be praising Alexander-Arnold as the right back also got message of encouragement from the Brazilian last February.
Speaking with FIFA, Cafu who won the World Cup with Brazil explained that Alexander-Arnold always make him happy anytime he watches him play for Liverpool.
"He's a sensational player, a rare talent.
"If he keeps playing the way he has been he will be regarded as one of the best players in the world. He has the potential to win The Best FIFA Men's Player award.
"He's technically brilliant, he has so much quality. He has a Brazilian style of play. I love watching him play. And playing in such a great team will help him grow." Cafu explained.
Last season, Alexander-Arnold was so brilliant for Liverpool in the Champions League which helped them beat Barcelona in the semifinals before lifting the trophy.
This season, the 21-year-old is also in good form as Liverpool wait to win the Premier League title after 30 years of wait.
