The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has released a statement in regards to the death of George Floyd, an unarmed 46-year-old African American murdered by the US police.
Recall that following the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, there has been serious unrest and tension in most states in the United States.
Some Americans have for days continued to protest the injustice and police brutality meted out to people of colour.
Reacting, WWE, in a statement posted on its official Twitter account on Tuesday, offered condolences to the family of the late George Floyd and also condemned the unfortunate racial injustices happening across the USA.
"WWE supports an inclusive society and condemns racial injustice," the statement read.
"We stand beside our Black performers, employees and fans around the world, and encourage everyone to use their voice to speak out against racism.
"We offer our sincere condolences to the family of George Floyd and the families of countless others who have lost their lives due to senseless violence." the statement said.
