Legendary Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has disclosed that he would love to play in the English Premier League before he finally retires from football.
The 37-year-old disclosed this on a live Instagram chat on Saturday afternoon, May 2, as he claimed he turned down offers from English clubs because the details were not right for him.
Enyeama who is currently in lockdown in France stated that although he does not have preference for a particular club, he wishes to appear in goal in the Premier League - even if it is for a day.
The former Lille of France shot stopper is currently a free agent having left the Ligue 1 side late in 2018 after spending eight seasons with the club.
"Where I would like to play..... I would say in the Premiership even if for a day," Enyeama told Legit.ng from his base.
"I don't have a preference for a club. I had offers but I didn't take them because the details were not good for me. I just want to enjoy football with laughter."
Enyeama who holds the most capped record for the Nigerian national team with 101 appearances for the Super Eagles continues his fitness training at his home in France.
There were earlier reports that the goalie was interested in joining either of Absa Premiership clubs Orlando Pirates or Kaizer Chiefs.
He however stated that he only responded to a question the way he was asked.
"It was a question at they asked me - it was the way the question was put to me; the guy asked what if I got offers from South Africa and I said why not? If the details are good."
