Paris Saint Germaine have reportedly offered Manchester United a way out of their dilemma with their record signing Paul Pogba.
The Ligue 1 champions are willing to send Angel Di Maria back to Old Trafford while the Frenchman move the other way.
Pogba has been endlessly linked with a move away from the Theatre of Dreams after failing to live up to expectations at the club, coupled with the series of injuries he has battled this season.
Juventus remain the only club showing interest in the World Cup winner after Real Madrid turned their back on their initial bid for him.
According to SunSport quoting Calciomercato, the Parisians were said to have offered the Red Devils both Di Maria and Julian Draxler for Pogba but it appeared they refused.
However, it is yet to be seen if the deal would see PSG include cash with the 27-year-old currently valued at around £150million.
The Argentine spent just one season (2014/15) at Old Trafford after his £59.7m move from Real Madrid and scored three goals in his first five EPL games.
He, however, failed to maintain the momentum for the remainder of the campaign with many believing the number seven jersey he wore was cursed.
After joining the French club, Di Maria lashed out at his former boss Louis van Gaal, saying he was one of the reasons he struggled at the club.
He said: "I only stayed one year. It wasn't the best period of my career, or they didn't let me have my best time there.
"There were problems with the coach at the time. But thanks to God, I was able to come to PSG and be myself again."
The former Real Madrid star has scored 81 in 217 games across his five seasons in Ligue 1, winning the title three times.
