COVID-19: Juventus set to place strict measures on Ronaldo when he returns to Italy

Cristiano Ronaldo will be quarantined for two weeks when he returns to training with Juventus, reports claim.

All Juve's foreign players that left Italy back to their respective homes will also go through the same process as the club looks to recall them back to training as soon as possible.

According to Italian news media outlet Tuttosport, Ronaldo and his other traveling teammates must first isolate before they can be allowed to join other members of Maurizio Sarri's squad.

The likes of Douglas Costa, Danilo, and Alex Sandro are expected to organize their flights back home once they are being called upon.

Ronaldo is currently residing in Madeira, his place of birth for more than a month along with his partner Georgina Rodriguez and his four children.

They have been staying in a rented mansion worth £3,500-a-week, which has six bedrooms and it is located near the fishing village of Canical.

Ronaldo and his family had previously moved to a seven-storey luxury pad with a rooftop pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

It is understood CR7 spent around £7million to recover the dream home, which has two Olympic-sized swimming pools, jacuzzi and a football pitch.

Juventus are on top on Serie A league standings ahead of Lazio with two points with 12 matches left to play.
