Barcelona appear to have accidentally leaked the design for Manchester United's 2020/21 home kit, uploading an image of the new strip to their YouTube account before hastily deleting it.
The Red Devils' upcoming kit retains most of the usual features: it is predominantly red with the white Adidas three stripes branding on the shoulders and still has the Chevrolet logo front and centre.
However, the new design also has a slightly strange black, yellow and dark red pattern that runs in stripes vertically across the shirt which not all fans are keen on.
Barcelona made the faux pas on Sunday afternoon, uploading a Barca v Manchester United PES match to YouTube and including the new kit on the thumbnail.
Although the Catalan club later changed the thumbnail, eagled-eyed fans had already screenshotted an image showing Paul Pogba wearing the strip.
In addition to the yellow and black striped pattern, the design also has a flattened-down white collar - which has drawn comparisons with Adidas' 1990-92 United home kit, which has its 20th anniversary this year.
While some supporters like the design, many have slammed it and criticised the departure from the club's traditional plain red number.
'Who down at the Adidas design team thought that making their most expensive kit production contract look like a bus seat was a good idea?' wrote one fan on Reddit.
'I refuse to believe it, that is the ugliest kit I have ever seen!' said another supporter, while someone else added: 'Have we ever won the league in a Christmas jumper before?'
United fans may not be the only set of supporters getting a raw deal with the new batch of Premier League kits, with Nike mocked for producing a 'vomit-coloured' green away kit for Liverpool after agreeing a mammoth kit deal with the Reds.
