Former Barcelona star Javier Mascherano has labeled fellow Argentine Lionel Messi an alien from 'another planet'.

Mascherano while trying to explain the difference between Messi and other players told Cielosports: "Whenever I refer to Leo I say the same thing.

Goal.com reports that both Messi and Mascherano are on compulsory holidays owing to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic.
The 32-year-old cannot wait to return to action in La Liga while his countryman is back in his homeland with Estudiantes.
He said: "I don't know how easy or difficult it is to come back three or four months without playing, but my mind [is made up] to keep doing it."
