Odion Ighalo has heaped praise on Aaron Wan-Bissaka by revealing the Manchester United right-back has a 'rubber' waist.
Wan-Bissaka quickly established himself as one of the best full-backs in the Premier League after a big-money move to United last summer, with Ighalo joining him at Old Trafford last January.
Ighalo has only spent a short time with his new team-mates due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the Nigerian explained why he always thought Wan-Bissaka was on the verge of injuring himself.
'That guy is one of the best right-backs,' he told Juliet Bawuah.
'His waist is like rubber, the way he bends and steals the ball.
'I think this guy is going to get injured and then next second he's going again. He's very difficult to get past.
'He's a very, very good player. His work-rate is amazing.'
Asked if he had managed to get past Wan-Bissaka in training yet, Ighalo cheekily replied: 'I'm a striker, so I want to stay in the middle.'
Ighalo is one of many players facing an uncertain future amid the coronavirus crisis, as his loan spell at United expires in May.
The striker could miss the remainder of the season with United, as his parent club Shanghai Shenhua are eager to see him return to China at the end of his loan spell.
It appears United will have to sign Ighalo permanently to keep him, which would cost in the region of £15million.
The 2019/20 season has been indefinitely extended and Premier League chiefs are hopeful postponed games can be played at some point during the summer.
