Mourinho picks best 11 players he has coached in his career (no Man United player made the list)

Former Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Man United and current Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has named his all-time dream starting XI players he has coached and the list features some big names.

However, there was no place for any Man United player, in a report on Daily Star who cited Marca.

Mourinho all-time dream XI of players he has coached features a strong Chelsea presence.

The 57-year-old enjoyed two memorable stints at Stamford Bridge, winning three Premier League titles.

And this could be his reason for choosing Chelsea legend Petr Cech in goal while also picking more Chelsea icons - John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho as his central defenders.

The special one as he fondly called then chose former Chelsea star William Gallas in unfamiliar role as his left-back, while Inter Milan legend Javier Zanetti is his preferred right-back.

In his midfield, Mourinho chose Claude Makelele as his defensive midfielder, while picking Mesut Ozil and Chelsea present manager Frank Lampard as his attacking midfielders.

Mourinho's attack wasn't much of a surprise as he chose Real Madrid star Eden Hazard, Juventus talisman Cristiano Ronaldo and Chelsea great Didier Drogba as his attackers.

Mourinho's team featured no player from Man United where he won three trophies during his time in charge of the club.

He worked with the likes of Paul Pogba, David de Gea and Zlatan Ibrahimovic but none of them did enough to make it into his list.

Jose Mourinho's best XI

Cech; Zanetti, Terry, Carvalho, Gallas; Makelele, Lampard, Ozil, Hazard; Ronaldo, Drogba.
