Italian giants Juventus will likely offer one of either Miralem Pjanic or Paulo Dybala to Manchester United as they intensify their chase for Paul Pogba, SunSport reports.
The Frenchman has been linked with a move to join the Old Lady, but they will now go head-to-head with Real Madrid who are favourites to get the signature of the 27-year-old.
The offering of one player will improve Juve's chances of getting the star who United are ready to sell for around £100million.
Pogba has been tipped to leave the Old Trafford side this summer and the Serie A leaders are looking to reunite with the star.
According to Juventus, offering one of their players as part of the deal to land Pogba will be a win-win situation for both clubs.
It was gathered that the player has publicly displayed his willingness to leave the club and he will be upset if United make an attempt to extend his contract.
The Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side has an option to extend his contract for one more year in a bid to improve their bargaining strength in the transfer market.
This season, Pjanic has impressed from the midfield scoring three goals and getting three assists in his 32 appearances this season.
Dybala, on the other hand, has featured in 34 games getting 13 goals and 12 assists.
According to former United striker Dimitar Berbatov, Pogba's strong relationship with Zinedine Zidane could make him move to Real Madrid.
"If he was to move, wherever he goes he will be fine," Berbatov said.
"He knows that if it isn't working out that there is always a team waiting for him some place else and if he goes he'll play and do well."
Meanwhile, Real Madrid have reportedly slammed a 450 million price tag on Uruguay international Federico Valverde who has impressed at the Santiago Bernabeu this season.
The 21-year-old is the reason Los Blancos are no more chasing their dream of landing Frenchman Paul Pogba.
Valverde has just two goals and four assists across competitions so far, his impact on the field can not be overlooked.
