Here is the awful thing Ronaldinho is facing in Paraguay prison due to coronavirus

Brazilian legend Ronaldinho is being denied visitors as Paraguayan prison authorities enforce lock down of the entire country due to the rampaging coronavirus.

Three people have been killed and fifty-two cases have been confirmed in the South American country as the world now face a common enemy.

More than 25,000 have been reportedly killed by the rampaging epidemic and way over half a million are currently battling for their lives across the globe due to the infection.

According to reports from SunSport, Ronaldinho is now denied visitors as prison authorities enforce lock down as only his lawyer is now allowed to see him.

The prison officials are said to be strict in their compliance in a bid to ensure that the dreaded disease does not reach inmates.

The 40-year-old is facing six months in prison after he was arrested and charged to court when he made attempt to enter Paraguay with a fake passport and a picture of him in prison has surfaced online.

The former AC Milan and Barcelona star was arrested on Wednesday, March 4, alongside his brother and business manager Roberto, who also entered the South American country with a fake passport.

They were both being held in the same police station in the capital Asuncion, but Ronaldinho and his brother claim they were tricked in using the passports.

He recently celebrated his 40th with a huge BBQ and received messages from fellow World Cup heroes Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos.

His former team-mate Rivaldo has admitted he is "concerned and sad" about the debacle and called the situation a "dark chapter in his beautiful history".
