Cristaino Ronaldo attacked for breaking 1 rule set by Juventus amid coronavirus cases

Cristiano Ronaldo has been criticized for breaking Juventus quarantine after posting several pictures of himself in the swimming pool during the Coronavirus pandemic, Daily Mail.

The 35-year-old returned to his homeland in Madeira at the end of February to visit his mum who suffered a stroke.

But the Bianconeri striker has not returned to Italy due to the outbreak of COVID-19 that spread across Europe and around the world.

CR7 is currently with his family in their luxurious home in Portugal and he has posting pictures on social media of his activities in his seaside mansion.

And former Juventus President Giovanni Cobolli Gigli has slammed the Portuguese star for posting pictures during the global pandemic.

"The thing at Juventus got complicated when Cristiano Ronaldo left. Ronaldo said he went to Portugal because of his mother, but now he only appears to take pictures in the pool," he told Radio Punto Nuovo.

"When this exception was made, the situation fell apart and others wanted to go. It shouldn't have been like that. They should all have been quarantined.".

Gigli is worried about players returning to Italy when the crisis is over as a couple of them left the country and returned home.

"Criticizing now is easy, but, seen from the outside, I don't understand why some players wanted to leave Italy," he continued.

"When they return it will be more difficult to get back into shape, because they will have to be quarantined for 14 days."
