What Barcelona coach said that got Messi provoked during El Clasico defeat to Real Madrid

Lionel Messi has reportedly had words with Barcelona assistant manager Eder Sarabia after the El Clasico defeat to Real Madrid, cited in Sportbible and ESPN.

La Blaugrana for the first time since 2014 lost to Los Blancos at the Santiago Bernabeu after Vinicius Junior and Mariano Diaz scored two second half goals.

And it is understood that Sarabia was caught on camera looking down at the Barca side who were second best in the contest.

Reports claim Messi was not having any of Sarabia's touchline antics and was quick to confront the 39-year-old assistant coach.

According to ESPN, Messi had hard words with Quique Setiene's assistant after he was usually using foul words on the sidelines.

Barca players are also not happy with his training methods, according to COPE, and a full evidence of Sarabia's rants has been revealed.

Goal claim when Antonine Griezmann missed a glaring chance on goal, Sarabia can be reportedly heard shouting "F**king hell, Antoine, stick it away!" In the post-match interview, Sarabia also managed to balance his emotion with tactical thinking as he discussed Karim Benzema's role.

"Our defensive line shouldn't be so far back, because they find more space [between the lines] and Benzema drops in and picks it up, and then they put us on the back foot.

"We need to limit those spaces." he said.

Sarabia has been assistant to manager Setien since 2015 when they both worked at Las Palmas.
