Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has singled out Brazil international, Gabriel Jesus for praise after their 2-1 win against Real Madrid away in Spain last night.
City had the night at the Bernabeu with the Brazilian playing from the left for much of the game and was a constant threat to Real defenders and also covered well defensively.
The Brazilian scored the equaliser for City with a fine header and missed a chance in the first half when he cut inside past defender Dani Carvajal only to see Real Madrid goalkeeper make a decent save.
Speaking with the press after the game, Guardiola described Jesus as a unique striker who offers industry as well as artistry.
"There is not in the world one striker to have the intensity like Gabriel.
"He is so fast and so good - we decide to play without a proper striker because of the way they defend.
"You have to make the pitch wide - they're so aggressive and in the first minutes we suffered, but after that we had more fluidity," he said.
