Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has backed the club to finish in the Premier League top four this campaign and qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are currently six points off the Champions League spot, with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur also aiming to steal a top four place this term.
"Man United have not been as consistent as we would like them to be this season, but that happens with change and when there is a lot of youth that has been included into the squad," Ferdinand told TalkSport.
"Even as a supporter you want your team to play well, win games, to see top players step up and score goals for the team, and we have seen that sporadically for Man United this term.
"The target at the moment is to be in the Champions League and United are fortunate there is no team that has really gone on a rich vein of form to secure their place in the EPL top four this season.
"therefore, the top four is up for grabs," he added
